*Cancelled* Vermicompost Bin Making with Sandra Rose

Due to unfortunate circumstances, this workshop has been cancelled.

Do you want to sustainably manage food waste all year round but don't know how? This workshop is for you!

Come and learn everything you need to know to get started and take home your very own vermicompost bin!

What is vermicomposting?

Vermicomposting, or worm composting, turns kitchen scraps and other organic waste into a rich, dark soil that smells like earth and feels like magic. Not only is compost rich in nutrients, it’s also loaded with the microorganisms that create and maintain healthy soil.

Who is Sandra Rose?

Your expert workshop facilitator, Sandra Rose, has composted all her life! She remembers taking kitchen scraps out and burying them in the garden when she was young. Sandra started vermicomposting over 15 years ago—she started with 198 red wiggler worms, now she has “a bazillion!”

What Sandra enjoys most about teaching others about composting is meeting new people and showing them how to turn organic waste into nutrient rich fertilizer for their gardens.
