Having spent an entire year with the sole purpose of exploring Saskatchewan as the Government of Saskatchewan's travel writer and online personality, Ashlyn will speak about a number of tourism-related experiences centred around environmental education, protection and sustainability. Weaving local travel stories with examples of how Saskatchewan has shifted to incorporate eco-centred experiences for vacationers, her presentation will offer insight into a different way of experiencing tourism in Saskatchewan.

Frank Wolf introduces us to his life as a long-distance wilderness tripper, followed by the first in-depth presentation of his recent 1800 km, 44-day expedition from La Ronge to Baker Lake.

Frank is known for documenting wilderness expeditions around the world, with a focus on the Canadian North. His boundary-pushing, world class exhibitions advocate for the protection of the sensitive ecosystems he travels through. He has been recognized as one of Canada's Top 100 Explorers by Canadian Geographic Magazine and was named one of Canada's Top Ten Adventurers by Explore Magazine.
